SUPERMARKET allows users to trade these assets in pre-determined time periods, similar to binary options in stocks.

Each time period is considered a "Round", and In confirming transactions into these "Round"s, the trade concludes once the time period expires, either resulting in a payout or loss.

Set time periods (Rounds):

- 5 Minutes

- 15 Minutes

- 30 Minutes

- 60 Minutes

To place a trade, users connect their wallet via our "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner. It will prompt you to connect Metamask.io or other various supported wallets.

Once connected, within the wallet, users need to switch to the Network of the asset they intend to trade. Some assets allow multiple networks therefore it is at the users discretion.

Selection of Rounds to trade occurs on SUPERMARKET's Dapp. Trades are placed using the Native Tokens of the selected Networks stated above.

User Process

1. User selects a Round to enter.

2. User selects "Over" or "Under", indicating the direction assumed price will follow

3. User selects the "Leverage" amount they want to risk. Leverage can be left at 1. It is at the users' discretion. A leverage of 1 means no risk for the TVL. (BETA will start at 2.)

4. User enters "Amount" being wagered for trades based on the prediction of the price

5. User presses "Place Trade"

6. User is prompted to Confirm + Sign transaction via Metamask

7. At confirmation, "Trade" is live

8. Conclusion of "Trade" occurs when the time of the Round expires, resulting in payout or loss.

9. Users may "Claim" winnings immediately through the "Claim" button once the Round is concluded, or continue trading on the History tab.

Further Clarification Of Functionality of Rounds:

As stated, there are four pre-determined time periods in which users can trade.

After each time period expires, there is a 1-minute cooldown in which users can place new trades.

During this time, users can select leverage and enter an Amount to wager.

Leverage is funded by "Whales", enabling traders to increase their position sizing on trades without increasing their principal risk. In return for this funding, "Whales" establish a "Handicap" in which price is increased or decreased based on a percentage range on the respective asset creating "New Current Price". Users now have to determine whether or not to wager on that "New Current Price." The "New Current Price" can be seen within the Over and Under buttons within the Round Card.

There are 2 types of prices:

- Current Price

- New Current Price

Current Price constantly fluctuates as it is fed by a live price feed (oracle) capturing the price of each asset in real time. This applies to Zero/ Non-Leverage. This price is never static unless the price of the actual underlying asset is static.

New Current Price fluctuates based on Leverage. As users incrementally increase and decrease Leverage, the price of Over and Under will fluctuate based on the Handicap as mentioned above. Once an Amount trade, Leverage selected, and Over or Under is confirmed by the user, then the Round commences. That price and selection of Over or Under with the Handicap is now locked in. The price will be seen as static till the beginning of the next round.

History of trades, future rounds to come, charts, social chat and trading leaderboard are all made viewable to users.

Platform fees incurred

- 6.9% total fee of winnings per trade by user

ie.

UserA places a trade for $100 at 5x leverage. UserA's prediction is correct.

$100 x 5 = $500 - 6.9% = $465.5 = Sum awarded to UserA
